Ahhh, Camps ;)

So I said that I was going to try and post a picture of the day or something about everyday of camp and obviously that didn't work very well. During the week and a half that we had camps we were seriously so busy! Everyday we were with the kids all day and then at night we would be preparing. I never realized how much work something like that was.
It was so much fun and so worth it though. So Monday-Thursday we had 30 kids from around Pingtung come to camp and stay at the school from 8:30-5. Then Friday-Tuesday we had 35 kids from all over the west of Taiwan (mostly Taipei), come down and spend all the nights with us. It was so crazy and yet so fun!
Monday we took the kids down to Kenting where we went to an Aquarium and spent the night in their lodging facilities. We had a tour of their research center and of the aquarium and they took us to the roof and told us about some of the stars and they had us make this awesome craft! The only problem was all of this was in Chinese so for all of us AT's (American Teachers) it got boring fast. The kids loved it though and it had everything to with the ocean so it was really cool.
This was the Swordfish's cheer. The first week we had one of the kids lead it for us, he was a really awesome kid. And the second week the kids didn't really seem like they knew it but the last day on the bus back to school all of the kids sung it like 20 times. It was pretty epic.
We had a good time at camp teaching the kids English, telling them Bible stories, playing UNO and searching for treasure.
And now more about Thailand....
