The life...

I realized that I haven't been updating at all recently. I'm sorry for not informing all of you people about my whereabouts. As of right now I'm still in Chaozhou. Lately it's been the same mundane kind of stuff so I felt stupid updating about it.
I'm not saying that I'm doing new exciting stuff and that's why I'm updating, cause that's definitely not what happened. It's just that now I have a new kinda of exciting kind of sad twist on it all.  The twist is that I have less then 2 months to live in this blessed country of Taiwan.
It's super exciting because I get to see my family and friends and give them all much needed hugs. But the sad part comes when I think of what I'm leaving behind. It's hit me a lot more recently that I might never come back and see this ever again. I'm going to be leaving my crazy team that I've had the privilege of spending the last 10 months working and laughing and talking and having a blast with. Also, I'm going to miss the Taiwanese friends that I've made. There's so many people here who are so amazing and it's going to be so sad to leave.

Enough talking about leaving because that will come before I know it.
We have the same schedule that we've had every week for the last 10 months so nothing new there. The schools are finishing up for the summer so we don't have very many classes at all!! I think we probably have less then 10 schools left to come to the English Village. It's really saddening.
I am still tutoring the girl that I started tutoring in October! So is so cute and I'm going to miss her so much. Her name is Jane and her English has gotten so much better. I'm so proud of her for sticking with it and practicing.
Every now and again some girls from my school (Nan Jung 8th graders) form over to house to spend time with us and hangout. They're so cute and so funny. We saw one of them a the train station today and embarrassed her because we can.
This semester one of my schools (Tang Lung) started this program where we teach their kindergarteners and their 1st and 2nd graders 1 or 2 Fridays a month. That is so fun because the kids are so cute and so small. All we have to do is play games with them and maybe teach them a little bit of English. For the 1st and 2nd graders our main focus is learning about the three little pigs. They're so cute when they try and act it out. This week one of our activities was to make pig faces against the window. Brilliant idea I must say!! With the kindergarteners we just play games and maybe a sing a song or two.
I don't know if I've mentioned or if you knew but every Wednesday I've been teaching this naughty class English. The kids are really cute and I love them but their English is so low! It's so hard to communicate to them. All they ever want to do is play outside and not listen. I have one more week teaching them and it's actually kind of sad. I was there today for the second to last time and I realized how sad it will be to never see them again. Today they were good because we just had a review day! It includes things like bingo, UNO, go fish and just for fun s'mores. Next week is party/review week. We'll get together with Jared's class and play some games and eat some food and take some pictures. I'm going to miss those kids!

Because we know that we might never come back we've been trying to go around Taiwan and see places that we've never seen before. Hopefully before we leave we'll be able to see a couple more really beautiful and popular places in Taiwan.
I feel like I'm writing a book.
Yesterday we went to Costco for the last time. It's been a friend to all of us and it's going to be sad not to go back. We know that I will miss us so that's helping with the pain.
I think for the most part that's all that's happening. If i feel like it I'll post again. I've included some pictures of my life. Enjoy
