Names: The most important thing in life

For the past 2 months I've been putting together a list of names. These aren't just any names, these are names of kids who have come through our EV's and someone has given them these English names. It's pretty awesome to go through all the kids and ask them what their names are. A lot of times you can't understand what they say so you have to look at their name tag. For instance, the other day I asked a kid what his name was and I thought he said "Italian" and I was like what! That's weird! Then I looked at his name tag and his name was Terry. Julia asked a kid what his name was and said his name was "J-eh-foo," his name was Jeff.
In almost every single one of your classes you'll have a girl name Tina, a boy with some variation of Jack (i.e. Jacky, Jackco, Jackson, Jack). A lot of times there'll be at least one Eric, Vivian, Peter, and Tony. These kids aren't born with English names (just like we're not born with Chinese names) so a lot of the time their English teachers will give them a name. If their English teacher doesn't give them a name then they probably just picked any English word that they knew and that was their English name.
In 2 months I've meet some people with some awesome names, weird names, names I wouldn't even consider names, and some very creative names. This is my list of names that you don't see every day:
